Named after the esteemed 19th century British artist, George Chinnery who has dedicated over 50 years of his life capturing portraits and landscapes of India, Macau and Hong Kong. This beloved establishment has been a cornerstone of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong since its opening in 1963. It was one of the first of its time, serving traditional British-Indian cuisine and has maintained much of its original decor to preserve the essence and historic charm that have drawn generations of patrons. The Chinnery Bar remains renowned for its extensive collection of over 120 rare single-malt whiskies, and classic cocktails served by members of a veteran staff known for their exceptional personalised service.
