Almost as famous as the hotel itself, Captain’s Bar is a city institution. Popular with both guests and locals alike, it has been Hong Kong’s favourite after-work watering hole for decades. Popular with guests who enjoy live jazz and blues, performances are held every Tuesday to Saturday evenings. Our cosy yet classic bar is a destination for unwinding and famous for serving draught beer in silver tankards, it's the kind of place you stop by for a drink and stay all night. Dress code: Comfortable attire welcomed until 6pm. Refrain from wearing singlets. After 6pm, guests refrain from wearing shorts of any length, torn jeans, singlets, bathrobes, flip flops and gentleman sandals. Gentlemen are invited to wear a shirt or polo and full-length trousers are required. Collarless T-shirts are acceptable.
