  • The Chinnery

    Named after the famous British artist George Chinnery, The Chinnery enjoys a relaxed club-like atmosphere with deep upholstered armchairs, green leather banquettes and warm wood panelling. Offering a laid-back alternative to our fine dining restaurants, The Chinnery specialises in traditional British cuisine with classic dishes such as bangers and mash, fish and chips, and steak and ale pie available for lunch and dinner. Home to one of the world’s largest collections of single malt whiskies, The Chinnery has over 109 varieties for guests to try. We also serve chilled draft beer in custom-made silver tankards by a veteran staff who know many guests by name. Guests in comfortable attire are welcomed throughout the day. After 5pm, ladies are kindly asked to wear elegant attire and proper footwear. Gentlemen are kindly asked to wear closed shoes at all times with smart shirt and long trousers after 5pm.

  • Pierre

    This stunning two-Michelin starred restaurant, situated on the 25th floor, is Pierre Gagnaire’s pied a terre in Hong Kong. It is here that diners can experience outstanding modern French cuisine in a stunning environment. With a culinary team led by Gagnaire’s protégé, Jean Denis Le Bras, diners can expect creative interpretations of classic dishes with seductive flavours that are truly worthy of their two Michelin-stars. A vision of contemporary luxury, Pierre’s décor incorporates luxurious fabrics in a mixture of charcoal, cherry, blue and black highlighted with silver and crystal. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views over Victoria Harbour while the central chandelier changes colour to suit the mood. Atmospheric, dramatic and very chic, it’s the perfect setting in which to enjoy phenomenal cuisine.

    Something of an institution, the Clipper Lounge is a long-established favourite with Hong Kong locals and hotel guests alike and a wonderful place to meet at any time in the day.cTaking its name from the golden figurehead that stands at the head of our entrance staircase, the Clipper Lounge has a timelessly elegant feel with mink, taupe and mandarin furnishings enhanced with subtle Oriental accents. While popular for breakfast and dinner buffets, as well as our Sunday champagne brunch Hong Kong locals love, the Clipper Lounge is best known for afternoon tea. Elegantly presented on silver stands, the spread includes delicacies such as finger sandwiches, sweets, scones and our signature rose-petal jam. We also offer extremely popular seasonal themed teas, taking inspiration from the worlds of fashion, art and culture.

    Set in the heart of the hotel’s vibrant kitchen, The Krug Room is a ‘must-try’ for all visiting gastronomes. Created in partnership with Krug champagne, The Krug Room offers guests the chance to sample Executive Chef Uwe Opocensky’s brilliantly creative cuisine partnered with the world’s most prestigious champagne. Stunningly designed to re-create the intimate surroundings of a train carriage, boasting vibrant views of a fast-moving kitchen, along with forward-thinking gastronomy, The Krug Room will ensure that guests get to experience a sensory adventure that is by turns fascinating, mesmerising and exhilarating. This sophisticated restaurant can entertain up to 12 guests. Offering a taste of progressive gastronomy, there is no menu in The Krug Room. Instead, each evening’s dinner varies between 10-14 courses and is created according to Uwe Opocensky’s inspiration. Alongside these dishes, guests can select from the largest collection of Krug champagne outside of France. Our dress code requests that guests dress smartly in elegant attire with closed shoes.     Overseen by Executive Chef Uwe Opocensky, the Mandarin Grill + Bar is proud to have retained its Michelin star for the sixth year running. Using the finest organic ingredients and seasonally inspired produce, we offer an exciting interpretation of grill classics with a dash of progressive gastronomy.. Such acclaimed cuisine requires an equally stunning setting and our Sir Terence Conran-designed space never fails to impress. Overlooking Statue Square and Chater Garden, decor is wonderfully vibrant with a moulded scallop-inspired ceiling, Gerard D’A Henderson paintings and a central banquette upon which a selection of stunning white lily floral arrangements are displayed.

    Café Causette’s lively show-kitchens serve a range of dishes from all over the world. Discover Asian favourites such as Nasi Goreng and Hainan Chicken Rice on an extensive menu that also features classic international offerings such as The Mandarin Burger and pizzas that are considered by many to be the best in town. A range of organic, vegetarian friendly or gluten free options are also available for guests with special dietary requests. A favourite with both Hong Kong residents and hotel guests, Café Causette also offers afternoon tea. At this family friendly restaurant, a special children’s menu, activity packs and colouring pencils await.
